Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes and behind the lens at Piper & Scoot photoshoots? For those of you who remember The Hills you may think it is full of dramatic last minute errand running and mean girls. But here is how it really is over at Piper & Scoot...
Laurel, our Brand Manager, is our Lauren Conrad. She helps execute the shoots with just as much style but half the drama as Lauren. No offense Lauren, we know it was mostly your grumpy boss. And luckily, we don't have that problem here! Speaking of which, our lovely boss-lady Kylee is the one who chooses the clothes that will be involved in the shoot. Her right hand woman Allie, our Office Manager, selects the photos that will be featured on the website.
We love when fresh faces reach out to us and give us the opportunity to show them off in our clothes. We love our models and are always amazed at how hard they work, how adaptable they are, and how truly beautiful they are as well (inside & out). Our photographer Breea from Tell The Birds location scouts & styles the shoots with a simplistic yet fashionable vibe that fits with the clothing we offer.
Just because there's less drama, doesn't mean it's drama free. The shoot at Utah Lake had our poor model covered in bugs. We had to change locations every five minutes to avoid swarms. The result of that however kept each picture looking fresh. And the model swatting bugs away manifested in candid shots that enhanced the movement of the clothing.
The shoot at the Poppy Fields left our models changing amongst the flowers with everyone else around who also was there to admire the view. Perhaps they got more than they bargained for!
